Custom Fit
3D scanning of surgical site is used to create the backing of the prosthetic to ensure a comfortable fit. If patient has had a single mastectomy, a 3D scan will be leveraged from the remaining breast to produce a mirror geometry. If double mastectomy has already occurred, patients can send in images, sizes or other requirements for custom creation.
Production
3D printing enables highly complex material properties including variable densities and textures. In combination with conventional manufacturing processes, this technology enables highly realistic models. Breast that will move and compress just as a natural breast would.
Finishing
Hand finishing will be required to get the most realistic surfaces. Custom skin tone matching, texturing and replaceable covers including lace addition for blending.
